Here is the recipe that I used all the time to make treats for my horse charlie. Sometimes I would add crushed mints or other goodies for him. These were his favorites so I hope your horses enjoy them too!
Charlie's Favorites
- 1 1/2 cups of apple sauce
- 1 cup of oatmeal
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 1/4 cup of shaved carrots
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Mix all ingredients together in a big bowl
3. grease a muffin tin and put 1-3 scoops in each little cup depending on how large the cups are
4. cook for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown
Hope you enjoy this recipe!

Just got back from my trip! It was an amazing life changing experience. We fed a village, built them water filters, volunteered at a school, went horseback riding, and swam in a waterfall. It was an amazing trip. Hopefully I can go back sometime. I will be at the barn taking more pictures soon. Meanwhile, tell everyone about our blog. Thanks!

New Product review!
Mrs. Pastures Cookies for Horses
Pros:
- not as unhealthy for your horse as other treats
- Bella loves them! She could eat these things all day
- small sized treats that don't make your horse sick after eating a few
- I like the taste too!
- great for teaching tricks because of their size and how much horses love them
- come in a big container with lots of them
Cons:
- They're so good that sometimes after having one Bella won't eat any of the other treats I give her
- more expensive than other treats. But they aren't that expensive.
I have nothing else to say! These are Bella's favorite treats! They have no additives or preservatives and are all natural. They're super healthy for your horse and taste great too! Hope you enjoyed this review!
